Meet Dr Roxane Heaton, Data and Software Engineer
What does it really mean to be an Engineer? Is there one type of Engineer? And what do they do all day? Meet Roxane who would like to tell you about her job and how she became an engineer.
Meet Roxane (Data and software Engineering)
About: Roxane works for MacMillan Cancer Support as their Chief Information Officer. She worked in many jobs that involve data, software, and technology, including the Royal Navy and Morrisons supermarkets.
She was even awarded the British Empire Medal in 2022 for her work on Digital Technology during Covid-19.
Route into Engineering: Roxane went to university and has three Master level degrees in Engineering, an MBA (business degree) and a Doctorate in Business Administration.
