Meet Lina Drodz, Energy Engineer
How can Engineers change the Energy industry? What are they doing to make Energy greener? Meet Lina who would like to tell you about her job working in green energy and how she became an engineer.
Meet Lina Drodz, Energy Engineer
About : Lina's current role is to analyse innovative solutions to manage the electricity grid and enable more low-carbon technologies to supply energy. Lina works at Baringa, a consultancy that supports projects across the whole energy industry.
Route into Engineering : Lina did Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics at AS level and continued with Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A Level. Lina did Design Engineering (Mechanical Steam) at the University of Bristol.
Why Engineering? For me, engineering taught me quantitative methodologies to create new products and systems. In a complex world with so many options engineering gave me invaluable skills to make better decisions for the future we want to build.
