Drones that are farmers

At some vertical farms drones are the farmers! They use sensors and cameras to check how plants are growing and if they need more water, light or food. Watch this video to see how this works and next time you see a drone fly think about the amazing things they are used for.

In the exciting world of farming, there's a new and high-flying helper called a drone!

Drones are like little flying robots that can do lots of amazing things to help plants grow in vertical farms.

Instead of growing plants in wide fields, vertical farming stacks plants on top of each other in tall towers or shelves.

And guess what? Drones zip around these towers, looking after the plants like tiny gardeners! They have cameras that take pictures of the plants, helping farmers see if the plants are happy and healthy.

If a plant needs some extra water or nutrients, the drone can give it just what it needs! It's like having a watchful friend in the sky, making sure all the plants are growing strong and tall.

With the help of these flying farm helpers, we can grow more food in smaller spaces and even have farms in big cities!

Vertical farming with drones is a fantastic way to take care of our plants and make sure we have lots of delicious fruits and veggies to enjoy!
