The Farm of the future?

This farm of the future uses an old laser tag arena to grow plants with no soil and 95% less water. Could it be the way forwards for growing food?

Imagine a world where farmers grow plants without using any soil! It may sound like magic, but it's true!

This amazing way of farming is called "hydroponics."

Instead of planting seeds in the ground, farmers grow plants in special water-filled containers.

They add all the nutrients the plants need directly into the water, so the plants can drink them up and grow big and strong. It's like giving the plants a special vitamin drink!

Some farms even use "aeroponics," where plants hang in the air and get their nutrients from misty sprays.

Without soil, these farms can be set up in all sorts of places, like indoors, in cities, or even in space! So, in the future, we might see farms without soil all around us, providing us with tasty and healthy fruits and vegetables to enjoy.

How cool is that?
